Regardless of our religion or lack thereof, our spiritual beliefs, or what ever we may think about the existance of a higher power, there exists an open line of communication, available to all of us that many are not even aware of.

It is constant--like a 24 hour a day broadcast station that has just the programming we need for what ever is going on in our lives. Our only requirement is to tune in. The greatest difficulty we have in doing so, is that there are other broadcasts on at the same moment that we find more compelling; more interesting. We have a tendency to choose these distracting channels because they deal with what we are primarily interested in; our bodies and their senses.

Communication from 'God,' or 'Spirit' (whatever we perceive It to be) comes to us through the our Higher Self (the Holy Spirit). Remember we are all capable of such communication when we truly desire it.

All we have to do is, be still and listen . . . which simply means; become focused in the present and let go of any past or future thoughts. The first essay has some basic instruction that will help you practice this concept.

My personal path for more than two decades has been the study and practice of A Course In Miracles. It is my wish to share with students of the Course and other seekers of truth, by passing on some thoughts that have come my way in quiet moments. The "Voice" is always on hand to tell us what to say. In times of personal turmoil and indecisiveness, I chose to listen and write. Such was the way these pages came to be, and I too, am still learning from them.
