Picture a beautiful, tranquil lake or pond. The water is pure and crystal clear. It is a perfect temperature. Lie back on the water and find yourself so light and buoyant that you float effortlessly and safely on its surface. Your mind is very quiet and peaceful. Thoughts may attempt to capture your attention now and then, but they don't need to linger; simply allow them to drift away and then bring your awareness back to floating on the calm surface of the water. . . floating comfortably and effortlessly with a secure feeling that no harm will come to you. You are nested in the clean, clear water and feel as though you are a part of it. The sky above is clear and bright and blue. You are alone in peaceful solitude in this quiet still pool of crystal aquamarine. The beauty is breathtaking. Lie there for a moment and feel the peace. Experience the tranquility. Now begin to feel the water permeating your being. Like a sponge, you are absorbing the water and you feel a merging with it. You know this is a safe feeling as you begin to dissolve into the water. Slowly, your earthly being dissolves into the liquid and you become more and more a part of it, more and more liquid, until you disappear from sight. The warmth of the sun is soothing and very comfortable and you feel light--very light as though you are rising. The sun is evaporating the water that contains your being. You are turning into a vaporous existence as you rise high above the earth. The feeling is warm and safe and secure as you realize you are part of a beautiful cloud hovering in brilliant blue sky. Weightless. Floating on air. Look directly below, you and see the place you call home. You are ready to return to that place. You become a gentle rain that falls in slow motion. It feels as though it will take hours to reach the ground as you descend gracefully. Your being consists of millions of tiny raindrops and you are mixed together with millions of other raindrops. Each tiny raindrop is the result of a loving thought from every person who ever lived in the world, and these loving thoughts are joining with and becoming a part of you. You are part of an infinite array of droplets that are indistinguishable from one another. . . all the same; all as much a part of you as you are a part of all the others. Eventually a few of the drops touch the ground and splash into even smaller drops like a fine mist as they transform into the remanifestation of your earthly being. As you begin to gather back together, you behold how purified your being has become in the process. All error has been washed away and only good and pure droplets reunite with your being. If there were any imperfect parts to your existence, any thoughts that were not completely loving, any feelings of insecurity, doubt, guilt or fear that lingered on, they are now washing away, flowing downstream; far away from you, never to return. Each one being replaced by loving thoughts in the form of rain droplets that surround and merge with you. You are becoming whole and healed as you take back your material form. You feel rejuvenated and refreshed; alert, filled with joy. . . and washed clean of any imperfection. As you reenter the room you feel the presence of love all about you; your entire being filled with love; made of love; an expression of perfect love. . . and nothing more.
